President considers important further strengthening border security in Kyrgyzstan

President Almazbek Atambayev noted the importance of further implementation of measures to strengthen border security in Kyrgyzstan. He stated this at a meeting with Chairman of the State Border Service Mirbek Kasymkulov,  Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration informed.

It is noted that the President was informed about the situation at the state border and measures on strengthening the safety and protection of the external borders of the country.

Mirbek Kasymkulov reported on the work on improving the combat readiness of the military border units, plans for the development of border infrastructure, and improvement of the work at  the state border checkpoints.

"Almazbek Atambayev stressed the importance of enhancing the mobility of frontier departments for effective implementation of tasks to ensure the inviolability of the state border of the country," the press service of the President noted.
