Almazbek Atambayev: Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan strengthen

President Almazbek Atambayev with satisfaction noted "the positive dynamics of mutual support of measures on strengthening the relations of friendship and good neighborliness" between the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan. He stated this yesterday at a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov.

According to the Information Policy Department of the Head of State, Adham Ikramov told Almazbek Atambayev about the joint work carried out by the government delegations of countries on harmonization of positions on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.

The agreement to strengthen this direction has been reached after talks between Almazbek Atambayev and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Participants of the meeting also discussed topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation in high-priority areas, the press service of the President reported.
