Kyrgyzstanis takes fifth place at international chess tournament in Pavlodar Open 2016

Kyrgyzstanis took fifth place at the international chess tournament Pavlodar Open 2016, which ended in Pavlodar (Kazakhstan), site profchess.kz reports.

According to it, 10 rounds  were played at a tournament in classical chess. It was attended by 94 players from Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Belgium and the Kyrgyz Republic. Our country was presented by two chess players.

The first-fourth place in the final protocol took four athletes who had 7.5 points out of 10 possible. Fifth place was shared by six players who scored 7 points. Among them are both Kyrgyzstanis - Tologon tegin Semetei and Mikhail Markov.

Recall, in the framework of the Pavlodar Open 2016, there also was held blitz tournament, in which Mikhail Markov was ranked the third.
