Kyrgyz PM indignant at statements of ministers, contrary to decisions of government

Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev believes it is inadmissible when ministers make statements in Parliament, contrary to the decisions of the government. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

According to it, Temir Sariev noted the low level of the worked out normative legal acts. "There are a lot of complaints on this issue. In order to avoid such shortcomings, we need to reconsider the approach to the development of the normative legal acts. Along with this it is unacceptable that some of the ministers to make statements in Parliament, contrary to the decision of the government. Internal investigations will be carried out on all the facts and appropriate assessment will be given on the results," press service quoted the Prime Minister as saying.

"Vice Prime Ministers are responsible for coordination of the work of state bodies. We need to have a common position on all the issues under consideration or adopted. During plenary sessions of the Parliament when considering the normative legal acts, our authorized representatives must defend the government's position. At the same time, the Cabinet members should activate cooperation with the profile committees of Parliament and personally control the entire process of bills' adoption," Temir Sariev said.
