Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry: No official inquiries from Australia to place refugees from Afghanistan received

There are no official request from Australia to place refugees from Afghanistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported to 24.kg news agency.

According to it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not authorized to comment on publication in the Australian newspaper that Australia supposedly decided to send a thousand and a halfof refugees from Afghanistan to Kyrgyzstan. "Otherwise, miscommunication at the international level will occur," the Foreign Ministry noted.
