Kyrgyzstan and Japan sign number of agreements during official visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe

Kyrgyzstan and Japan signed a number of agreements during the official visit of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.++

As noted, it is joint statement of solidarity and partnership of democracies between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, exchange notes between the Governments of the project "Improvement of roads of international importance." Also, a grant agreement between the Kyrgyz Government and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and exchange notes between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the project "Improvement of equipment the Manas international airport" together with the grant agreement.

A statement of cooperation between the State Financial Intelligence Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Financial Intelligence Centre at the National Commission on Public Security in Japan on the exchange of information related to money laundering and terrorist financing was signed. Two memorandums with Japanese corporation "IHI Star" - on cooperation with Aiyl Bank and mutual understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic were approved.
