Ata Meken faction supports candidacy of Sooronbay Jeenbekov for post of Prime Minister

Ata Meken faction supported the candidacy of Sooronbay Jeenbekov for the post of Prime Minister, the secretariat of the faction reported.

It is noted that in accordance with Article 122 of the Law On the Regulations of the Parliament, the faction decided to support the candidacy of Sooronbay Jeenbekov for the post of Prime Minister of the coalition of the parliamentary majority, proposed by SDPK faction. The decision was sent to the Speaker Asylbek Jeenbekov and leader of SDPK parliamentary faction Chynybay Tursunbekov.

Thus, the candidacy of Sooronbay Jeenbekov is approved by all factions of the majority coalition - SDPK, Kyrgyzstan, Onuguu-Progress and Ata Meken. As  24.kg news agency was informed, tonight the leaders of all four factions will gather to take a joint decision on the nomination of Sooronbay Jeenbekov a single candidate from the majority coalition.
