Sooronbay Jeenbekov: Some EEU countries set different from union conditions requirements

Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov in an interview with TASS Russian news agency said that some EEU countries set requirements that differ from the conditions of the union.

He noted that EEU is a big and complicated mechanism which is gaining momentum. Therefore, it is difficult to synchronize work of all structures of the organization overnight.

For example, now there are problems in the application of common requirements for the products in accordance with the technical regulations and the legal framework.

"There were recorded cases when some members of EEU set requirements that differ from the conditions of the integration association. This creates barriers to trade. We try to solve such questions together, bringing them into consideration and discussion of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The same applies to the issues of fulfilling the requirements of technical regulations, which are solved by making additions to the technical regulations of EEU," Sooronbay Jeenbekov told.

Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan said that today the world economic situation requires a rapid response to changing conditions. Accordingly, the EEC should be able to develop and make such decisions.

Kyrgyzstan proposed to revise and simplify the procedures for the preparing and making decisions by the bodies of EEU. It was supported by the partner countries.
