Russia to allocate $ 500,000 for development of industrial programs in Kyrgyzstan

Russia will allocate to Kyrgyzstan $ 500,000 for working out industry development program of the country. Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Gennady Gatilov said at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov.

The meeting was reportedly held within the framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization meeting. "Republic attaches great importance to developing cooperation with organizations in the promotion of industrial development and the development of industry development program," Deputy Prime Minister said.

He also suggested "to work out step by step detailed action plan" for the development of Kyrgyzstan's industrial potential. 

Oleg Pankratov assured that the country like "any other developing state" needs help in the implementation of these plans.

"We look forward for support, financial and technical cooperation with the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development. At the same time, we intend to apply to the states - members of this structure for support of Kyrgyzstan as a pilot country under the Country Partnership Program, which will contribute to achieving sustainable industrial development," Oleg Pankratov stressed.
