Profit of gold refinery in Kara-Balta increases by half 

Profit of gold refinery of Kyrgyzaltyn JSC in Kara-Balta on the results of 2016 has grown by half. The company informed 24.kg news agency.

Profit of the refinery in 2016 amounted to 132.5 million soms. This is 84.1 million soms more than in 2015.

In 2012-2015, profit of the gold refinery did not exceed 80 million soms. Volume of refinery's output also increased by 25.4 percent.

Production growth is partly connected with the program of the National Bank for the production of gold bullions.

Since May 7, 2015 till November 2016, the National Bank has sold 122 kg of gold for 340 million soms.

The heaviest bullions weighing 100 grams are produced at the refinery. They are most popular among buyers.
