RusHydro still not agree to audit of Upper Naryn cascade

Power engineers of Kyrgyzstan and Russia have so far failed to reach a consensus on the audit of the construction of Upper Naryn cascade. Representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic informed 24.kg news agency.

Parties unanimously advocate for less controversy regarding the cascade in the press: it hinders negotiations.

It's about $ 37 million compensation on which RusHydro insists. Russian company intends to collect the money through arbitration. Kyrgyzstan does not refuse to return them, but insists on an independent audit.

Representatives of RusHydro still have not agreed to the proposal of the National Energy Holding of Kyrgyzstan to conduct an independent audit. The parties intend to negotiate after January 10.

The first round of negotiations was held in Moscow on December 23. Initially, National Energy Holding Company was puzzled by the statement of RusHydro management on a possible appeal to international arbitration. Holding urged colleagues to withhold comments.
