First gold produced at Ishtamberdy field in Kyrgyzstan

First Dore gold was smelted at Ishtamberdy gold deposit in Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan. The State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Management reported.

Full Gold Mining LLC exploits the deposit. Concentrating plant started working in 2011. However, previously, it has not brought the expected results on technological extraction of gold, and in 2014 the company began to introduce a new ore processing technology.

The concentrating plant was reconstructed in 2016. Filtration, leaching, electrolysis and desorption areas have been commissioned. After the reconstruction, industrial tests showed that the extraction of gold has reached 85 percent.

"On December 24, first Dore gold, or a product of 80 percent readiness was first produced at Ishtamberdy. Gold is clearly seen there, and it was not seen in the concentrate, which we got earlier," the chief engineer of the company Suleiman Koshaliev noted.
