SRS to replace ID-cards of more than 3 mln Kyrgyzstanis to biometric passports till end of 2017

State Registration Service intends to replace ID cards of more than 3 million Kyrgyzstanis by biometric passports till the end of 2017, its head Taiyrbek Sarpashev said at a meeting of the committee of the parliament on the rule of law, the fight against crime and corruption.

According to him, an agreement with Japan, which is ready to provide about 100,000 ID readers, has been reached.
