Boeing-747 crash. Government hasn’t yet decided on amount of compensation

The Kyrgyz government hasn't yet decided on the amount of compensation for the victims of Boeing 747 crash, which took place on January 16, the press service of the Cabinet reported to 24.kg news agency.

According to it, financial assistance mechanism will be offered this week. Lists are specified, they include owners of the destroyed houses, who gave housing in rent.

"First of all, the question on Semetey hotel is being solved to relocate those placed there temporarily. Chui region state administration is instructed, it is considering options," the government noted.

Earlier it was reported that it's offered to resettle the victims in Manas village, where their children study.

According to the Ministry of Emergency, as of January 30 37.1 million soms have been transfered to the special account. Fund raising continues.

Collection of humanitarian assistance will complete on February 1.

39 people, including four crew members were killed as a result of the  cargo plane crash on January 16.  At least 26 houses are untenable.
