More than hundred short-stay kindergartens to open in Kyrgyzstan

Teaching classes to prepare children for school have been equipped with furniture in 2, 229 schools as a part of Nariste preschool program. The Ministry of Education and Science reported.

According to the ministry, there have been purchased 26,748 sets of desks and chairs. Each school received more than 60 types of visual and teaching aids, educational games, collections for reading, magnetic and school boards, furniture and bookcases.

To increase the coverage of children at the age of 3-5 by education programs, it is planned to open 120 preschool short-stay educational institutions within the program.

Organizations have been equipped with furniture (shelves for toys and books, halls for motor skills development, children's chairs, tables and benches, marker boards and others).

Construction and reconstruction works in toilets have been completed in Batken region.

Such work begins in Osh, Chui, Jalal-Abad and Talas regions. 897 kindergarten teachers have been trained under the project.
