ARVI incidence in Kyrgyzstan decreases. But doctors recommend staying alert

A decrease in ARVI and influenza incidence was observed in the past three days across the country, the Department of Disease Prevention and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Department reported to 24.kg news agency.

According to it, the daily monitoring is conducted. "As of January 21, 1,160 patients are registered in the republic. This is 18 percent less than on January 20, when there have been registered 1,426 patients," the department reported.

"But the season is not over yet. It is possible that the incidence will rise again. Because every year there is a peak in late January - early February. This year, the first wave of disease incidence was in December, when schools were closed for quarantine. It is recommended to observe preventive measures," the department noted.
