Kyrgyzstan numbers 137 refugees 

About 137 refugees live in Kyrgyzstan, Labor, Migration and Youth Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

 According to the Ministry, 122 people are refugees from Afghanistan, other 15- are the natives of other countries. Comparing to 2012, their number reduced by 38 people.

 At the same time it was noted that 165 applications for a refugee status from 249 foreign nationals have been registered in 2013. At least 101 applications of 146 people have been handled. At least 12 people were officially declared refugees. Consideration of 42 applications from 54 foreign nationals was stopped due to nonconformity of the applicants to the criteria for determining the refugee status.
