Sidewalks in center of Bishkek to be repaired for first time in 25 years

Sidewalks in center of Bishkek will be repaired for the first time in 25 years. Press service of the mayor's office reported.

According to Bishkekasfaltservice municipal enterprise, repairs are carried out in area, bounded by Manas and Zhibek Zholy Avenues, Bokonbaev and Abdrakhmanov Streets.

In particular, it will cover the pedestrian zones along Moscow, Kiev, Frunze, Togolok Moldo Orozbekov, Bokonbaev, Abdrakhmanov, Panfilov Streets, Chui and Zhibek Zholy Avenues, Erkindik Boulevard. 

About 50 million soms will be allocated for these purposes from the city budget.

The municipality notes that the repairs are suspended now due to weather conditions. It will be resumed in the spring and finished till the end of May.
