More than ten Bishkek City Council deputies resign

More than ten deputies of Bishkek City Council resigned. The vacant mandates were handed over to new deputies today at a special session.

The Bishkek Territorial Election Commission by its decision early terminated the powers of BCC deputies from Zamandash-Sovremennik faction Uvazarbek Adylbekov and Zhamalbek Yrsaliev. Their places were taken by Daniyar Omurbekov and Ryskeldi Shamiev.

As for the Social Democratic Party, Vasiliy Dashkov, Damir Dzhumashev, Maya Dzhumakeeva and Kalybek Chepeev also resigned early. Vacant mandates were handed over to Alexander Golenko, Subanbek Artykbaev, Olga Arakelyan and Sanjar Sarbanov.

The powers of Kuvanychbek Kongantiev, Ernis Dokenov, Asel Pirmatova, Ulan Dzholdoshov, Hasan Alimbekov and Muratbek Akmatbaev from Respublika faction were also terminated. Their places were taken by Almazbek Jumabekov, Temirbek Chodurov and Aizhan Satybaldiyeva. 

It should be noted that the powers of the current BCC convocation will not last long: new elections to local councils are scheduled for December 11.
