Heating season in Bishkek to begin on November 1

The heating season will begin in Bishkek on November 1, but if the need arises, the heatimg in the homes of citizens will be turned on earlier, the press service of the Mayor's Office reported.

According to it, the heating season starts if the average outside air temperature is +8 for five days in a row.

Bishkekteploenergo has 60 boilers,  24 of them opearte on gas, solid fuel - 22, electricity - 11, another 3 are combined. The length of heating network is 139,884 km. The company supplies hot water to more than 28,000 people, heating -  to 525 houses, 56 educational institutions, 12 health facilities, 19 other budget organizations, 95 business enterprises.
