Seller of Red Book animals’ skins detained in Kyrgyzstan

A seller of skins of animals, listed in the Red Book, was detained in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the State Ecological and Technical Safety Inspectorate reported.

According to it, on March 24, Eleman Abykeev was detained in Dordoi residential area near Bishkek, who without any permits sold a stuffed bear, eight wolf skins, three fox skins, and three fox fur caps and one trophy- head of an ibex.

The inspection officers drafted a protocol at the detention scene. Skins were confiscated.

All the collected materials were submitted to the prosecutor’s office for legal assessment, the agency noted.
