PM not ready to support power engineers in prejudice of railway workers

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov is not ready to support power engineers in prejudice of railway workers. He stated this today at a government meeting.

According to him, the heating season was positive. Everything worked stably. At the same time, he acknowledged that there were accidents at Toktogul hydropower station and in Tokmok. There were problems with the supply of coal due to snow avalanches and landslides. At the same time, the head of the Cabinet noted that the issue of coal supply to the Bishkek HPP in the future heating season of 2017–2018 needs to be studied again.

«As for railway tariffs. We shouldn’t make a profit at the expense of somebody. Why should Kyrgyz Temir Jolu suffer losses? When there is a market economy, we must work the same way. There must be justice," Sooronbay Jeenbekov said.
