Lawyers of Ata Meken party leader Omurbek Tekebayev filed the second lawsuit against the President Almazbek Atambayev for libel. The lawyer Kanatbek Aziz informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, it is about a false accusation of Omurbek Tekebayev and two other members of Ata Meken — Aida Salyanova and Almambet Shykmatov of involvement in MegaCom share trust through an offshore company in
Omurbek Tekebayev had previously stated to 24.kg news agency that Belizegate issue was a matter of principle, since he was accused almost of treason and betrayal of the party line.
Omurbek Tekebayev was taken into custody by GKNB until April 25. He is accused of corruption and fraud.
