Unfortunately, we won’t be able to raise the salary this year: funds are not provided. In 2015, teachers' salaries were raised by 50 percent, and technical staff and educators - by 80 percent. In 2017, there are no such plans.
Head of the Ministry of Education Gulmira Kudaiberdieva added that it is planned to conduct appraisal of teachers. Those who receive categories will be able to receive an additional payment from one thousand to three thousand soms.
According to her deputy, the average salary of a teacher in the republic is 13,000 soms.
