Government not hurry with claims to company, whose plane fell on Dacha SU

The government of Kyrgyzstan doesn’t make any claims to the airline company, whose plane fell on Dacha SU village, public figure Toktaiym Umetalieva stated at a press conference.

According to her, representatives of the Turkish airline twice came to Kyrgyzstan after the crash of the aircraft, and this indicates their readiness to pay all necessary compensations.

«The commission gave a preliminary conclusion that the aircraft was fault-free, but fell due to an error of the crew. Based on this, it is possible to send claims to the airline to recover economic, moral, environmental damage," she said.

«However, despite the fact that almost two months have passed since the tragedy, — Toktaiym Umetalieva noted, — the government is not in a hurry to prepare documents on the claims on the death of our citizens, it doesn’t think about the affected villagers who experienced stress.»

According to our calculations, for every deceased we can bill at least $ 50,000 and the total amount of compensation can reach $ 10 million.

«The Ministry of Emergency Situations is not an institution that must collect money as charitable support, it should voice the amount of damage to the state budget as a result of unforeseen expenses," she said and asked President Almazbek Atambayev to take the issue under his control.

Recall, on January 16, 2017 a cargo plane of one of the Turkish airlines fell on the village of Dacha SU near Manas airport, 35 Kyrgyz citizens and 4 crew members died.
