Greco-Roman wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan won three medals at the international tournament Vehbi Emre & Hamit Kaplan, held the day before in the city of Istanbul (Turkey). Turkish media reported.
According to their data, representatives of eight countries participated in the competition. The sportsmen competed in eight weight classes. The Kyrgyzstanis fought triumphantly in a weight of 59 kg, winning gold and silver: a young Kaly Sulaymanov broke the resistance of the experienced Kanybek Zholchubekov in the final. Nurbek Abduganiev won bronze medal in weight of 66 kg.
