Esen Kaliev takes second place in Powerlifting World Cup

Paralympian Esen Kaliev took second place in the Powerlifting World Cup, foreign media reported.

As noted, the competitions held in the city of Dubai (UAE). In the weight category up to 59 kg there were 12 athletes. Jordanian Mohammad Tarbash has won, lifting 172 kg. Kyrgyzstani Esen Kaliev lifted 168 kg, showing the best result in his career. The third was Ukrainian Ruslan Korchinskiy — 160 kg.

Note, Kaliev Esen took fifth place at last year’s Paralympic Games, and is the best Paralympian of the KR-2016.
