Kyrgyzstanis win gold medals at International Boxing Tournament in Minsk

Kyrgyz athletes Munarbek Seyitbek uulu and Anvar Khodzhiev won gold medals at the International Boxing Tournament in memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Liventsev in Minsk. The website of the Boxing Federation of Belarus reports.

Munarbek Seyitbek uulu competed in the weight category up to 60 kilograms. In the final he defeated Artur Tuniev from Belarus.

Anvar Khodzhiev defeated a Russian athlete Adam Alviev in the weight category up to 48 kilograms in the final.

Kyrgyzstanis Askat Kultaev (up to 67 kg) and Bakyt Toktosun uulu (up to 92 kg) won silver medals, losing decisive matches to boxers from Russia and Belarus, respectively.

Bayaman Azizbek uulu took third place.

About 107 athletes from Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, China, Turkmenistan and Congo took part in the tournament. They competed for 20 sets of medals.
