It is reported that Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have many areas of interaction, but they need to strengthen regional cooperation.

«We have many points of contact, starting with sugar beet seeds, which we, unfortunately, cannot produce as well as you do, and have always purchased them from you. And ending with issues of mechanical engineering and cooperation in industry in general... There is room for growth,» Alexander Lukashenko said.

According to him, the two countries need to increase regional cooperation; he also noted the experience of such interaction with Russia. «I would like this experience to be transferred to Belarusian-Kyrgyz relations,» the head of Belarus noted.

Trade turnover between the two states in 2022 amounted to $160.2 million, an increase of almost 65 percent compared to 2021.
