Women and children repatriated from Syria underwent rehabilitation and went home. Press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry recalled that on February 16, as part of Aikol operation, 18 women and 41 children were returned to Kyrgyzstan.
«After arrival in the Kyrgyz Republic, women and children were placed in a rehabilitation center, where work was carried out with them on medical, psychological, theological, educational adaptation and rehabilitation. Work was also carried out to document the children,» the ministry said.
Rehabilitation was completed on June 1, all women and children were sent to their places of residence in the regions. The relevant state bodies will continue to work on their reintegration and adaptation into society at the local level. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration coordinates the process of rehabilitation and reintegration of the repatriates.
