Representatives of the government agencies of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan met at Dostuk — Dustlik checkpoint on Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce reported.
The parties discussed the possibility of launching an electronic queue management system at the border in a testing mode. It is planned to launch it to optimize the movement of vehicles between Dostuk and Dustlik checkpoints. The Kyrgyz side got acquainted with the work of the electronic queue system in Uzbekistan.
«This initiative, in case of successful implementation of the pilot project, will be the first in Central Asia,» the ministry stressed.
