91 percent more Russians arrive in Kyrgyzstan compared to 2020 – FSB

FSB disclosed the number of trips of Russians abroad. According to it, the number of departures of the Russians abroad was almost twice as high as in the second quarter of 2022.

Indicators of departure of Russian citizens to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia broke a five-year record.

As the data of the Federal Security Service on the number of departures of Russians to foreign countries for the third quarter of 2022 say, the number of departures to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia and Abkhazia from July to September was a record for five years.

In total, from July to September, the number of trips abroad amounted to 9.7 million, which is almost twice as much compared to the second quarter of the year (then the number of trips reached 5 million).

From July to September, 167,000 departures of Russians were recorded to Kyrgyzstan, which is 91 percent more than in the same period in 2021 and 100 percent more than in 2019.

In the third quarter, 126,000 departures from Russia were recorded to Uzbekistan, which is 80 percent more than in July-September 2021 and 102 percent more than in 2019.

Tajikistan also has a significant growth — 103,000 departures. For comparison: in the third quarter of 2021, this number was almost 27,000, and in 2019 — 48,000.
