The Bishkek City Hall proposes to reduce the revenue and expenditure parts of the budget by 458,857 million soms. Draft resolution of the Bishkek City Council, submitted for public discussion, says.
As the background statement says, by the end of the year, the revenues of the Municipal Property Management Department of the City Hall will decrease by 2,490,981.1 billion soms, including revenues for land lease will reduce by 400.9 million soms, premises, buildings, structures, equipment and machinery owned by municipality — by 70 million soms, other property — by 20 million soms, sale of non-agricultural land — by 2 billion soms. The expenditure part of the item «Accumulated financial reserves» will also be reduced by almost 2.5 billion soms.
At the same time, there will be an increase in revenue by 2,059,973.4 billion soms due to targeted transfers from the republican budget to increase the wages of state and municipal workers and social workers.
It is also proposed to make changes to the revenue and expenditure parts of special funds.
It was originally planned to approve the budget of Bishkek in the amount of 11,690 billion soms, but later its size was increased to 15,022,517.2 billion soms.
