At least 3,526 Russian citizens have been registered in Kyrgyzstan since September 21, 2022. The Population Registration Department under the Ministry of Digital Development informed 24.kg news agency.
Some 170,003 Russians have been registered at the place of residence for eight months of 2022. For the same period last year, the figure was 141,323. The number of Russians increased by 28,680 people, or 20.3 percent this year.
On September 21, the Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree declaring partial mobilization in the Russian Federation. At the same time, there are reports that Russian citizens are leaving the country, and prices of tickets from Moscow to Bishkek soared to 170,000 soms.
