Garment enterprises of Bishkek will be fined for throwing textile waste into public waste bins. Press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
According to it, cases have recently become more frequent when workers leave sewing waste at garbage sites. Such garbage often leads to equipment breakdown and increases the workload of workers. Raids are conducted in the city to detect such violations. The amount of the fine for legal entities is 13,000 soms and 3,000 for individuals.
Municipal inspectors have begun to conduct raids to detect the facts of illegal waste disposal by garment enterprises. As for Pervomaisky district, violation was revealed at 2 out of 10 enterprises. The owners were warned about the obligatory conclusion of an agreement for removal of sewing and other waste by Tazalyk municipal enterprise.
To date, the tariff for waste removal services for business entities is 252 soms per cubic meter of garbage, including VAT.
