It is planned to build 112 specialized factories on the territory of Silk Way Industrial Park, where large enterprises, as well as individual entrepreneurs, will work. It was announced during a visit of the head of the Investment Agency (KADI) Nuradil Bayasov to the facility.
In January 2022, the enterprise was included in the register of investment projects that will receive customs benefits for the import of equipment. The investor, in turn, told about plans for the development of the park. It is planned that more than $50 million will be invested at the first stage of the investment project. In the future, the volume of investments will reach $100 million.
«The Silk Way Industrial Park will take an area of 70 hectares and will provide up to 35,000 new jobs by 2023. It will specialize mainly in textile, clothing and footwear production. The park will consist of several sectors: an industrial zone, logistics, customs control, marketing and management centers, an exposition center, as well as administrative, economic, sports, recreational, cultural and educational complexes. As a result of the visit, it was decided to continue to guide the project at each stage of the investment cycle and help expand production capacity,» the statement says.
