Almazbek Toktorov: Up to 15 percent of money can be saved on public procurement of medicines 

About 10-15 percent can be safely saved on public procurement of medicines. Parliament deputy Almazbek Toktorov announced today at a press conference of 24.kg news agency.

"There are drugs that are sold several times more expensive on our market. Experts can explain this by the capacity of the market and find other reasons. But that's not an excuse. When the political system is changing, there always appear some children's diseases, the growing pains. There is made an indulgence, let's first provide, saturate the market, and then we'll think about the prices. This period was five years ago, and the system has changed," the MP said.

He noted that the physical availability of medicines in Kyrgyzstan was a "kind of provided."  "You can buy them even in remote areas, but their affordability situation is not as advanced as we would like. But we know how to deal with it," Almazbek Toktorov added.
