Hearing and Speech Center opened in Bishkek

Hearing and Speech Center "Medincus" will be opened today in Bishkek Middle Dzhal urban district.

It will be engaged in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with hearing problems. In addition, the medical facility will carry out setting and provide technical support of hearing implants, selection, setting, sale and servicing of modern digital devices. The uniqueness of the institution is that the center uses telemedicine in cooperation with Polish experts.

"If the help of Polish colleagues is needed for the consultation or examination, they will join through the Internet and will see the patient's ear with the help of the special equipment. Thus, the experts will be able to immediately make recommendations. Setting of the implants will also take place remotely. This is a new practice for Kyrgyzstan," Director of the Centre in Bishkek Irina Pezhinska told.

The medical institution employs the local staff, but the personnel have been trained in European clinics. It is planned that their professional development will be carried out on an ongoing basis to meet the high European standards. The possibility of holding master classes for local otolaryngologists is being considered.

Centre in Bishkek is a branch of the International Center for Hearing and Speech "Medincus" in Kajetany (Poland).
