Bishkek to mark International Yoga Day

The International Yoga Day will be marked today in Bishkek from 7.00 p.m. till 9.00 p.m. at Kurmanjan Datka monument. Event is organized by the Indian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Mayor's Office invites you to take part in a mass yoga class together with masters for free. You only need to have a mat.

"Yoga is a priceless gift of ancient Indian tradition that embodies the unity of body and soul, symbolizes the harmony between man and nature. In December 2014, UN adopted a resolution to celebrate the International Day of Yoga on June 21 annually," Mayor's Office noted.
