Republican infectious diseases hospital overcrowded, patients placed in corridors

Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bishkek is overcrowded; patients are placed in the corridors. The chief physician of medical institution Gulzhigit Aaliev informed 24.kg news agency.

 According to him, 433 patients receive treatment at the time, many of them have acute respiratory viral infections and flu. At least 11 patients are in the intensive care unit. "Only yesterday, on Sunday, about 230 patients turned to us for medical help, 61 people we hospitalized. Patients are provided with necessary medicines," Gulzhigit Aaliev said.

Recall, it is planned to build a new five-storey hospital building for 200 patients.
