Head of parliamentary majority coalition considers decision of the government to denounce agreement with the US is premature

The head of the parliamentary majority coalition considers that the decision of the Government to denounce the agreement with the United States is premature. Felix Kulov says at a press conference.

According to him, the State Department makes policy decisions. "Some polls show that about 80 percent of the citizens do not trust our courts. At the same time it was said that there was pressure on the court in making decision concerning Azimzhan Askarov. Apparently, this was the reason for the award. But at the same time the judges themselves assure that 100 percent sure of his guilt. I think it would be better if the Prosecutor General's Office re-examine the case. It is necessary to consider it on newly discovered evidence, and then assign a process involving international experts. And then they would be convinced in guilt of Azimzhan Askarov and there wouldn't be any controversy," he added.
