Kyrgyz President dismisses Ambassador Ermek Ibraimov

The President of Kyrgyzstan dismissed the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and also the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic under OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna Ermek Ibraimov.

According to the information policy department of the presidential administration, Almazbek Atambayev signed a decree today.

It should be noted that Ermek Ibraimov is the brother of the ex-chairperson of the Accounting Chamber Elmira Ibraimova.

The day before, during the final press conference, journalists recalled Almazbek Atambayev her speech in which Elmira Ibraimova said that the external debt of Kyrgyzstan exceeded the threshold of 60 percent of GDP, and the republic would face default.

The President said: "If she continued to work in the Chamber of Accounts, and her husband - as the head of the rural administration, she would make other statements. The external debt is $ 3.7 billion. You can do nothing, build nothing and listen to such opposition members, who have just lost their jobs - and go to the opposition."
