They were attended by 87.83 percent of voters, or more than 17 million people. Voting began on Sunday at 06.00 a.m. (05.00 a.m. Bishkek time) and held until 8.00 p.m. (9.00 p.m. Bishkek time).

The elections were declared valid. The voter turnout exceeded the required 33 percent by 11.00 a.m. local time.
