Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan plan to develop trade cooperation

Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan plan to develop trade cooperation. The parties have agreed on the issue in the framework of a return visit of Uzbek delegation to Kyrgyzstan.

The Information Support Department of the Government's Office of Kyrgyzstan reported that the day before the acting First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev and the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov signed a number of documents.

On October 1, the delegation of Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of the Uzbek side visited Andijan region to participate in activities for the strengthening and development of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation.

Following the talks, Mukhammetkaly Abulgaziev noted that a meeting with participation of the state bodies aimed at wider development of trade capacity of the countries will be held in Bishkek in the near future. The worked out proposals will be submitted to the Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental commission for consideration.

The two sides signed a Memorandum of mutual cooperation between the Osh State University and Andijan State University.
