President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev plans to visit Kyrgyzstan

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev plans to make a state visit to Kyrgyzstan. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrisov stated. Kazinform reports.

"The President said that Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan relations should be exemplary and called for the development of a comprehensive program of cooperation between our countries, which would cover political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, youth ties between our countries. We talked about the visit of the head of state to Kyrgyzstan. We are looking for a convenient time for the visit and holding the next meeting of the Interstate Council between two countries. As the head of state stressed, the most important thing is to fill the visit with quality content," Erlan Idrisov said. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev confirmed that the Foreign Affairs Ministries of two countries will work intensively on the preparation of the state visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Kyrgyzstan.

"I think it will take place either before the end of the year or in the first quarter of the next year. At the same time, the meeting of the supreme interstate council will be full of very important issues. This is agreement that concerns the demarcation and the border regime, as well as a comprehensive program for the development of our cooperation for the years ahead. Nursultan Abishevich strongly supported the program which will focus on the convergence of our two peoples in all regions," the minister said.
