Patrol officers of Uzbekistan stay in disputed area of Ungar-Too mountain. The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan said to 24.kg news agency, adding that their number has not decreased.
According to the service, the negotiations continue but without any result so far. The Uzbek side responds nothing to the demand of Kyrgyz colleagues to release the disputed territory.
Recall, on August 22 several employees of the Interior Ministry of Uzbekistan landed from MI-8 helicopter on the disputed part of the border (next to the repeater station on Ungar-Too mountain). After that Kyrgyzstan directed to the area additional police forces and border guards. Kyrgyz radio relay station "Kerben" is situated on Ungar- Too.
