Uzbek police still stay at inconsistent area of Ungar-Too mountain, the State Border Service of the KR reported to 24.kg news agency.
According to the agency, the negotiations on resolving the situation continue. As the State Border Service noted, Uzbekistan fulfilled the basic requirement of the Kyrgyz side - to free our citizens.
Recall, on August 22 several employees of the Interior Ministry of Uzbekistan landed from MI-8 helicopter on the disputed part of the border (next to the repeater station on Ungar-Too mountain). After that Kyrgyzstan directed to the area additional police forces and border guards. Kyrgyz radio relay station "Kerben" is situated on Ungar- Too. Four of its employees were detained and sent to the territory of Uzbekistan.
