The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan denies the message about the death of the President Islam Karimov.

Today, Fergana news agency reported that the President of Uzbekistan died of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 79 years. According to agency sources, Islam Karimov died at 3.00-4.00 pm Tashkent time.

At the same time, a source in the Uzbek Presidential Administration has denied this information to RIA Novosti. "Islam Karimov is still in hospital in stable condition, reports of his death are not true," the agency reported.

On the morning of August 27, 2016 Islam Karimov had a stroke, this information was confirmed in the social networks by his daughter Lola.
