Uzbek police still not left Ungar-Too territory

Uzbek police still have not left the territory of undemarcated part of Ungar-Too and the situation remains unchanged. The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

 It is noted that the Kyrgyz border units are drawing duty in emergency mode on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. Currently, additional border troops were sent to Ungar-Too district.

Border representatives of the parties continue negotiations. According to the Uzbek side, to conduct procedural measures, four Kyrgyz citizens - employees of the radio relay station - are at Yangikurgan police station in Uzbekistan. According to the Uzbek side, there are no causes for concern.

Joint actions of the border service personnel and other structures on the site are coordinated by the first Deputy Chairman of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan. The situation on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border is stable.
