Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan demand to remove Kyrgyz police checkpoints around Orto-Tokoy reservoir. The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, the situation at the state border is stable. It is noted that telephone talks between the Chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Service - the Commander of Border Troops of Uzbekista took place the day before after the landing of the Uzbek police airlifted troops on the undemarcated Ungar-Too area. The sides expressed their willingness to resolve the situation.

According to the decision of the court of Ala-Buka district, Jalal-Abad region, the arrested on August 13, 2016 officer of Security Department at the Department of Interior of Kasansay region of Uzbekistan Tozhibaev was fined, and on August 22 at 9.30 p.m. was handed over to the Uzbek side.

Currently, officers of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Internal Affairs remain on undemarcated part of Ungar-Too area. The chief of the Main Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces has left for Ala-Buka District, Jalal-Abad region to coordinate actions of the military men of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.
